Deb Krmpotic, FACHE, CEO, Banner Ironwood Medical Center
Deb Krmpotic became chief executive officer of Banner Ironwood Medical Center, located in San Tan Valley, Ariz. in January 2010.
Previously, Krmpotic was currently chief nursing officer at Banner Baywood Medical Center. She joined Banner Health in 1986 in the role of director of Case Management and Patient Care manager at the former Mesa Lutheran (Banner Mesa) Hospital. She brings rural health and physician practice management experience to Banner Ironwood having served as administrator/CEO at two former Banner facilities, Lisbon Medical Center in North Dakota and Lookout Memorial Hospital in South Dakota.
As chief nursing officer at Banner Baywood, Krmpotic enjoyed significant successes in both facility and system roles. Banner Baywood achieved top quartile performance in employee engagement, and successfully opened a new tower and Emergency department within recent years.
