C. David Kikumoto
C. David Kikumoto is the founder and chief executive officer of Denver Management Advisors.
He is recognized as one of the leading experts in health care financing in the western United States and has been a frequent public speaker on innovations in managing the national health care system.
From 1999 to 2000, Kikumoto was the president and vice chairman of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Colorado and Nevada. He led the merger of Blue Cross and Blue Shield to Anthem resulting in the creation of one of the largest private foundations in Colorado.
From 1987 through 1999, he served in several roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico, including president and chief executive officer.
Previous to that, he held numerous positions with Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Utah which included executive vice president and chief operating officer.
He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Utah and pursued graduate studies at the University of Utah. He graduated from the Executive Development Program at the University of Chicago and from the National Association of Corporate Directors Training.
Kikumoto and his wife have four children. They live in Greenwood Village, Colo.
