Marilyn Schock, CEO, McKee Medical Center
Marilyn Schock, former associate administrator at McKee Medical Center, was named the hospital’s chief executive officer in late 2009.
Schock came to the position with more than 23 years of increasing leadership roles at Banner Health. She began her career in 1986 as a staff occupational therapist at McKee Medical Center. She served in various roles in the Rehabilitation Services department including as director of Rehab Services. She later served as the executive director of Managed Care for many years before returning to McKee in 2005 as the associate administrator.
She worked with former CEO Rick Sutton to lead McKee to receive Banner Health’s Best of the Best award in 2008. Also during that year, she stepped in as interim CEO for Banner Health’s 25-bed critical access facility, Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyo., for five months.
She also served as the associate administrator for North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley – a 398-bed hospital also operated by Banner Health. McKee Medical Center has 132 beds.
Schock is on the Loveland Chamber of Commerce board of directors and will be the chair in 2010.
