Vincent DiFranco, CEO of Community Hospital
DiFranco came to Torrington from Monroeville, Ala., where he worked for Quorum Health Resources (QHR), a health care management/consulting company, for more than a decade. During his tenure with QHR, he has served in a number of hospital leadership roles, including CEO at Monroe County Hospital, a 92-bed county-owned facility.
In addition, DiFranco served as CEO for Mena Regional Health System, a 65-bed hospital in Arkansas; Wills Memorial Hospital, a 50-bed facility, in Georgia; and COO of East Georgia Regional Medical Center, 150-bed facility, where he served as administrative officer for ancillary and support departments including radiology, laboratory, cardiopulmonary services, rehabilitation, home health, plant services, food service, environmental services and biomedical engineering.
He received his bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Michigan in 1984, and his master of science in health administration from the University of North Carolina in 1986.
