Wilford A. Cardon
Wilford A. Cardon serves on the audit, compensation, corporate strategy, executive, finance, and investment committees
Cardon is an owner and the chief executive officer of The Cardon Companies. His experience in founding, managing and acquiring both public and private companies includes real estate investment and development, petroleum retailing and wholesaling, crude oil trading, motel and restaurant services, consumer products manufacturing, finance and leasing services, and cattle ranching.
Cardon has served several missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brazil. He is a past chairman of the board of directors for Banner Health, past chairman of the National Advisory Council for the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He has served as the president of the Mesa School District governing board, the president of the Mesa Rotary Club, the president of the Western Petroleum Marketers Association, a director for the Western Mutual Insurance Company, and a director for American Savings Life Insurance Company.
Cardon received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and studied law at George Washington University. He and his wife, Phyllis, are the parents of eight children and reside in Mesa, Ariz.
