A Message to the Community

We will become a national leader recognized for clinical excellence and innovation, preferred for a highly coordinated patient experience, and distinguished by the quality of our people. We believe this bold vision will be realized by Banner by clinical outcomes at all of our facilities that are in the 90th percentile of all hospitals. These outcomes will be aided through technological and process-driven innovation at the hands of our highly skilled and dedicated clinical experts and those who support them. In this new era of health care reform, it will be essential that Banner Health ensure a highly coordinated experience for our patients that also is measured in the 90th percentile of all hospitals. Most likely this experience will begin in one of many outpatient settings – or even on Banner’s website. Wherever a patient’s experience begins with Banner, we will provide for smooth transitions and superior service. Our clinical “backbone” is our enhanced suite of electronic medical records that includes computerized provider order entry and electronic patient identification. Finally, achieving our vision of national leadership is only possible through the quality of our people. At Banner Health we offer a commitment to our employees that we call our Journey Commitment.
