$38 million Banner Baywood ED opens doors

MESA, Ariz. (Oct. 8, 2009) There will be shorter wait times to see a doctor, spacious private rooms and additional parking spaces for visitors.

Banner Baywood Medical Center's $38 million state-of-the-art emergency department opened for business last week.

Located on the southern side of the hospital, the 52,000-square-foot facility will offer 58 private rooms, each with a flat-screen television; a two-bed resuscitation area; private entrance for paramedics and ambulances; and the department's own imaging and X-ray room.
