BRUSH, Colo. (Aug. 18, 2009) -- Since January of this year, East Morgan County Hospital (EMCH), Brush, has welcomed several new staff members. Following is the third in a three-part series introducing new personnel at the health care facility.
Spending more time with family and still having the ability to serve a community is what brought Dr. Ned Nixon, M.D., to the local health care facility.
As of April of this year, Dr. Nixon, who resides in West Denver, has been commuting to Brush where he serves as the emergency room physician. “I stay in the hospital during my shifts here at EMCH,” he said of the 48 hours per week that he spends in Brush.
