Banner Health welcomes two family practice providers
FALLON, NV (July 7, 2014) – Banner Health welcomes a new family physician and a new physician assistant to clinics in Fallon and Fernley.
Justin Heath, DO, began seeing patients in June at Fallon’s Banner Health Clinic specializing in family medicine. The clinic is located at 801 E. Williams Ave., Suite 2207 in Fallon. To make an appointment, call (775) 867-7740.
Dr. Heath received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Touro University of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, CA, and his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Nevada-Reno. He completed an internship and residency with the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune, NC. Before relocating to Fallon, he was the family medicine director at Naval Hospital Lemoore in Lemoore, CA. He is board certified.
“I believe in patient-centered care practicing from birth to geriatrics,” Dr. Heath said.
In his spare time, Dr. Heath is interested in the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and spending time with his family.
Darla Kneeland, PA-C, joined Banner Health Clinic in Fernley and Fallon in June. She sees patients at the Fernley clinic, 805 E. Main St., Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and at the Fallon clinic Wednesday. To schedule an appointment, call (775) 575-7171.
Kneeland is a board-certified physician assistant with an emphasis in family medicine, women’s health and pediatrics. “I believe in treating the entire patient and building a partnership between myself and those under my care,” Kneeland said.
She wants to develop individual treatment plans with her patients that allow them to take part in their own wellness.
Kneeland received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. She received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology and chemistry from Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR.
