Familiar face takes new role at Banner Health Clinic
Hanna is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine. She has a special interest in women’s health and enjoys caring for patients of all ages.
Originally from Wall, S.D., Hanna started at Ogallala Community Hospital in 2001 as a human resources assistant. She attended Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, Neb., to get her associate’s degree in nursing as a registered nurse. After working for a few years she returned to school and obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing and continued on with her education to obtain a master’s degree in nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.
She earned her master’s degree through the online program at Southern University in Savannah, Ga. She completed her clinical rotations locally with family physicians Gabriel Godina, MD, and J. Matt Byrd, MD, and obstetrician/gynecologist Michael Bianco, MD, in North Platte. She has worked as an RN at the hospital since 2008 in a number of nursing leader roles and in many departments.
She begins her nurse practitioner duties in September at the Banner Health Clinic and will start seeing patients soon after.
In her spare time, she likes to stay active with her family and friends by running, participating in local running events, playing volleyball and she also enjoys reading.
