McKee’s Seasons Club co-sponsors talk on long term care planning

 

LOVELAND, Colo. (Oct. 22, 2009) –McKee Medical Center’s Seasons Club is hosting three professionals who will speak about new ideas related to planning and paying for long term care.

The presentation is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at McKee Conference and Wellness, 2000 Boise Ave., Loveland. Refreshments will be served and there is no cost to attend. Please RSVP by Nov. 2 to (970) 635-4097.
Panelists for the event:

  • Laurel Kubin, Consumer and Family Science educator from Colorado State University Extension, will speak about preparing for long term care.
  • Gary Ashby, manager of Benefits Coordination at the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, will talk about Colorado’s Long Term Care Partnership.
  • J. Elaine Procter, an attorney with Procter and Callahan, LLC, will speak about Medicare and Medicaid.

No goods or services will be sold in conjunction with this event. The session is co-sponsored by the Larimer County Long Term Care 2010 committee.
