New cardiologists join North Colorado Medical Center
GREELEY, Colo. (Sept. 14, 2009) – The CardioVascular Institute of North Colorado welcomes three new physicians.
Cecilia Hirsch, MD, joined the CVI on Aug. 31 and sees patients in the Greeley, Wray and Yuma clinics. Dr. Hirsch recently completed her cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver with an emphasis in echocardiography, nuclear medicine and diagnostic catheterization. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver and a sub-internship including intensive care, cardiovascular care, oncology, internal medicine and emergency medicine rotations.
Dr. Hirsch received her medical degree from the Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Brian Lyle, MD, will begin seeing patients Sept. 14 in the Loveland clinic. Dr. Lyle most recently worked with the Rocky Mountain Cardiology group in Boulder as an invasive cardiologist. He completed a cardiology fellowship and was the chief cardiology fellow at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn. He also completed an internal medicine residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Dr. Lyle received his medical degree from the NCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
John H. Drury, MD, FACC, FACP, will see patients in Sterling, Holyoke and Brush. He moved to Sterling from New Haven, Conn., and began seeing patients Sept. 8.
Dr. Drury earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular diseases and a residency and internship in internal medicine. Most recently, he served as the chief medical information officer for the Saint Raphael Health Care System in New Haven as well as medical director in the care management department and associate chief of cardiology there.
With the addition of these three physicians, the CardioVascular Institute now employs 13 cardiologists and three cardio-thoracic surgeons.
