Phoenix Coyotes Roenick and Laraque Bring Holiday Cheer to Pediatric Patients at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center

GLENDALE, Ariz. –December 22, 2006-- Jeremy Roenick, Georges Laraque, the Howler and members of “The Pack” visited with, and delivered gifts to pediatric patients in the Children’s Center and the Emergency Department from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2006.

“I don’t know who was more excited the kids or the parents and staff!” said Bowen Larsen, director of public relations for Banner Thunderbird.  “Jeremy and Georges were so generous with their time and good spirits.  We hope they come back again soon.”

Being in the hospital is never easy for kids, but being in the hospital over the holidays is even more difficult.  Banner Thunderbird Medical Center is very grateful for all the support received from the community and wishes everyone a wonderful holiday season.
