NCMC welcomes new cardiologist to the CardioVascular Institute
GREELEY (Dec. 11, 2008) — A name familiar to many heart patients in northern Colorado will join the CardioVascular Institute at North Colorado Medical Center later this month.
Cardiologist Ahmad Shihabi, M.D., F.A.C.C., begins practice at the CardioVascular Institute on Dec. 31. He will see patients Greeley as well as in the clinics at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush and McKee Medical Center in Loveland.

Dr. Shihabi was a cardiologist for Colorado Plains Heart and Lung Center in Fort Morgan from July 2005 through July 2008.
He received his education at the University of Jordan Faculty of Medicine in Amman, Jordan, and completed postgraduate training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Minnesota as well as a fellowship this year at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
