Banner Baywood names new CFO

MESA, Ariz. (May 26, 2008) – The Banner Baywood Campus has named Sam Patterson the new Chief Financial Officer to serve both Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital.

Patterson has served the campus since 2003 as a senior financial analyst, and interim chief financial officer since January. Prior to joining Banner Health, Patterson worked at the University Medical Center and Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. Patterson moved to Arizona in 1998, when he worked as a senior analyst at Paradise Valley Hospital. He then served as the assistant controller at the Northwest Medical Center in Tucson.
