Banner Boswell Medical Center hosts Joint Club open house July 30
SUN CITY, Ariz. (July 10, 2009) – Considering a joint replacement? Wondering what your options are? Banner Boswell Medical Center invites you to a free open house of the Joint Club at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 30. The Joint Club is a special unit dedicated to the care of patients undergoing total knee or total hip replacements. Patients recover in the golf-themed Joint Club unit in an environment that emphasizes wellness, socialization, and maximizes patient recovery efforts.
Clinical specialists from the Joint Club will tour visitors through the unit, the therapy gym and answer questions about joint replacement. Light refreshments will be served.
Joint replacement has helped many people suffering from osteoarthritis achieve a better quality of life, free from pain. Today, more than 400,000 total knee and total hip replacements are performed annually in the United States.
