Autism Fun Day sponsored by Mesquite High School Student Council

When:  Saturday, April 4, 2009
10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Where:   Mesquite High School, 500 S. McQueen Road, Gilbert, 85233

Screenings: Free cholesterol, blood glucose, skin cancer, blood pressure, bone density, body mass index screenings provided by Banner Health.

Free DVT Awareness Risk Assessments provided by the National Coalition to Prevent DVT, held in an RV traveling the nation to promote DVT Awareness. This is the only stop this RV will make in Arizona. More information at www.preventdvt.org.
 
Booths: Healthy cooking demonstrations by Banner Gateway Medical Center’s executive chef

More than 40 health and wellness information booths

Kids can participate in several activities including fingercasting and getting their photo taken dressed in scrubs.

Autism: Fun Day In Support Of Autism sponsored by Mesquite High School will include:

 T-Shirts

 Activities & Games 

 Live Band

 Food  

 Silent Auction

All to raise funds for Autism research and programs in Arizona and the Gilbert community.
