Knox Named CFO of Banner Medical Group

PHOENIX (Dec. 2, 2009) -- Robert “Bob” Knox has been named the first chief financial officer of  Banner Medical Group. He will begin his role at Banner on Jan. 4, 2010.

Knox brings extensive experience in medical group management in both stand-alone and health-system settings.

Most recently, he was the associate executive director for Finance and Administration at Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), in Allentown, Penn.  The group has approximately 500 physicians.  In this role, he managed all finance functions, information technology and business development activities. 

In his new role, Knox will be responsible for the growth and financial oversight of Banner Medical Group.
