Magazine fundraising campaign to “Mag-A-Difference” for Valley children

PHOENIX (Dec. 29, 2009) - Banner Health Foundation, the organization responsible for generating philanthropic support for Banner Health, has once again expanded its fundraising reach with the “Mag-A-Difference” subscription campaign to support care programs at Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz.

A fundraising initiative from Media That Deelivers, parent company of Arizona Foothills Magazine, the “Mag-A-Difference” campaign will donate half of all subscription and gift subscription purchases of the luxury lifestyle publication made through December 2010 to Banner Health Foundation in support of Cardon Children’s Medical Center. Each $36 annual subscription will generate $18 for the hospital’s many pediatric patient care programs and services that rely on charitable contributions.

“We can think of no better foundation to partner with on our subscription drive,” said Michael Dee, president and publisher of Media That Deelivers. “This is not just a children’s hospital for the Valley, it has some of the best specialists in the United States and is extremely deserving of all our support.”

In addition to donating half of all subscription dollars to Banner Health Foundation through the Mag-a-Difference fundraising campaign, Arizona Foothills Magazine will support the organization by keeping readers in-the-know about Banner events and happenings in its magazine and on its Web site, AZFoothills.com.

“Arizona Foothills Magazine’s commitment to donate half of all subscription dollars raised to Cardon Children’s Medical Center illustrates that they recognize the importance of philanthropy and value Banner’s efforts to provide excellent care to pediatric patients in Arizona,” said Andy Kramer, president and CEO of Banner Health Foundation. “Their generosity is a testament of their dedication to future of Arizona.”
