McKee Medical Center announces additional seasonal flu shot clinic
LOVELAND, Colo. (Nov. 11 ,2009) – McKee Medical Center Wellness Services will offer a seasonal flu shot clinic Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McKee Conference and Wellness Center, 2000 Boise Ave.
The flu vaccine offered is for the seasonal flu, not H1N1. If you are interested in the H1N1 vaccine, please visit www.larimerflu.org or call your local health department.
For the McKee community flu shot clinic, no appointments are necessary; the flu shot clinic is open to the public on a first come, first served basis.
The prices for vaccinations are:
- Flu shots - $25
- Tetanus shots - $35
- Pneumonia shots - $45
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, also known as Tdap - $55.
Medicare billing is available for original Medicare patients. Community Wellness with McKee Medical Center is not able to bill Medicare Supplement plans, or Medicare Health Plans (such as HMOs, PFFS and PPOs). Original Medicare patients, please present your Medicare Part B card to the clinic. No other insurance billing is available.
Flu vaccinations are available for people ages 9 to 17 years with a parent or legal guardian present.
