McKee Medical Center invites public to celebrate Best of the Best

LOVELAND, Colo. (April 29, 2009) – McKee Medical Center invites area residents to a community picnic from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday May 7 to celebrate Banner Health’s Best of the Best award.

Banner Health presented the Best of the Best Award to the Loveland community hospital for the second consecutive year. The award, presented in April, recognizes outstanding performance in the health care system.

The picnic will offer guests free hot dogs, chips, drinks and watermelon as well as entertainment, clowns and face painting. People are invited to gather in the parking lot at the northwest end of McKee Medical Center’s campus, 2000 Boise Ave.

The event also serves as a kickoff to National Hospital Week, which celebrates the contributions of hospital staff, volunteers and physicians as well as community supporters in providing quality health care. Hospital Week 2009 is May 11-15.
