NCMC plans media tour for Western States Burn Center opening

GREELEY, Colo. (March 30, 2009) — North Colorado Medical Center invites members of the media to attend a tour of the new Western States Burn Center and Endoscopy Center. The tour, at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 2, will allow you to get an early look at the expanded and upgraded state-of-the-art unit.

Our health care providers dedicated to the burn center will be available to answer questions about the new unit, and we will provide complete press information at that time.

Please RSVP to Gene Haffner or Sara Quale. If the morning tour does not accommodate your schedule, we will have an open house for special guests from 4 to 7 p.m. that day.

The Western States Burn Center serves an eight-state region that includes northern Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota, Idaho, Kansas and Nebraska. The center is one of only three in Colorado.

The new Endoscopy Center features procedure rooms and patient areas significantly more spacious than what has been used in the past and the latest in endoscopy technology. Combined with the teams from NCMC Gastroenterology Clinic, the Endoscopy Department and the medical staff, the facility offers sophisticated diagnostic procedures for a variety of conditions in a caring environment.
