New physician accepting patients at Loveland Pediatrics
LOVELAND, Colo. (July 20, 2009) – Colorado native Bridget Brown, MD, has returned to the Front Range to serve patients as a pediatrician with Loveland Pediatrics.
Dr. Brown, who grew up in Broomfield and graduated from Colorado State University, began at Loveland Pediatrics this month. She is accepting new patients. Appointments can be made by calling (970) 663-5437.
Most recently, Dr. Brown was at Primary Children’s Hospital at the University of Utah where she completed her residency and internship in pediatrics. She completed medical school at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y., and received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from Colorado State.
While attending CSU, Dr. Brown worked as a CNA for Columbine Care Center West in Fort Collins.
Dr. Brown has done extensive research, writing and presentations on the relationship between caregivers working with children who have been diagnosed with terminal illnesses and their perceptions and skills at seeing signs and symptoms of suffering. In medical school, she volunteered to organize and lead a support group program for young children who had lost a parent.
In her spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys family activities with her husband and two young children, including hiking, camping and triathlons.
