Banner Thunderbird hosts free Teen Health Fair in April
GLENDALE Ariz., (Feb. 25, 2009) - Banner Thunderbird Medical Center’s Women and Infants Services department and Banner Thunderbird Children’s Center are hosting “Get the 4-1-1 Teen Health Fair” on Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This free event will consist of concurrent, separate sessions for high school teens and parents/guardians of teens.
- WHO: Banner Thunderbird Medical Center’s Women and Infants Services Department and Banner Thunderbird Children’s Center.
- WHAT: Free Teen Health Fair with topics including teen sexual health, body acceptance, STDs, depression/suicide prevention, community volunteerism and internet safety. Resource and referral information will be available. Fun, giveaways and much more. Lunch will be provided.
- WHERE: Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, 5555 West Thunderbird Road, Glendale, AZ 85306. Health Fair will take place in conference rooms 1, 2, 3 and 5, located at the East end, lower level of the hospital.
- WHEN: Saturday, April 11, 2009, 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
