Aspen Medical Center welcomes new internal medicine specialist

LOVELAND, Colo. (Sept. 23, 2010) – Banner Medical Group announces the addition of an internal medicine specialist.

Julia Cuervo, MD, began seeing patients this week at Aspen Medical Center Internal Medicine, 2923 Ginnala Drive, in Loveland.

Dr. Cuervo was born in Texas. She spent four years in the Air Force as an Internal Medicine physician at Ehrling Bergquist Military Treatment Facility, Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska.  She received the Meritorious Unit Award, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Air Force Training Ribbon.

She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed and internship and residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center Internal Medicine Program in Phoenix.

Dr. Cuervo speaks English and Spanish and looks forward to treating all aspects of adult health care – preventative, diagnostic and therapeutic. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking, gardening, photography, cooking and sewing.
