Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center one of “America’s Best Hospitals”

 

PHOENIX (July 14, 2010) — U.S.News & World Report has recognized nonprofit as one of “America’s Best Hospitals” in six specialty areas. This marks the 11th year that the hospital has been ranked by U.S.News & World Report.

Banner Good Samaritan was recognized for six programs:

Best Hospitals 2010-'11 included rankings of 152 medical centers nationwide in 16 specialties. Independent researchers ranked the top 50 hospitals in the country for each specialty.

"When the stakes are high, you want the best care you can get for yourself or someone close to you," said Avery Comarow, editor for U.S.News & World Report. "These hospitals are accustomed to seeing the sickest patients day in and day out.”
