Banner Health named one of Arizona's Most Admired Companies
PHOENIX (Sept. 15, 2010) – Banner Health, one of the state’s largest employers, has been named as one of Arizona's Most Admired Companies.
Arizona Business Magazine and BestCompaniesAZ today named Banner Health as one of the most admired companies in the state. It is the first time the award has been given out.
Also named was Sonora Quest Laboratories, a subsidiary of Laboratory Sciences of Arizona, which is a joint venture between Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics.
Companies were selected for the award for excellence in workplace culture, leadership excellence, social responsibility and customer opinion.

Banner Health, which is based in Phoenix, has more than 35,000 employees with operations in seven states. It also has been named as one of Arizona's Best Places to Work for three consecutive years.
In 2010, Banner Health was named one of Top 10 Health Systems in the U.S by Thomson Reuters and one of Top Ten Integrated Health System in the Nation by SDI.
