Banner Health opens Banner North Peoria Primary Care practice, Dec. 8

PEORIA, Ariz. (Dec. 7, 2010) – Banner Health continues to make it easier for Northwest Valley residents to build a relationship with a primary care physician by opening Banner North Peoria Primary Care, part of the Banner Medical Group, on Wednesday, Dec. 8.

Conveniently located near the intersection of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley Road at 10204 W. Happy Valley Road, Suite 160, in Peoria, Banner North Peoria Primary Care offers same-day/next-day appointments and is available to meet the health care needs of the entire family—regardless of age.

Our staff, headed by Charity Weldt, MD, builds long-lasting relationships with patients by establishing trust and open communication. Dr. Weldt provides compassionate, patient-centered care, focused on the individual needs of each patient. As a primary care physician, she coordinates care with specialists when necessary.

With a strong belief in the importance of seeing the entire family, Dr. Weldt listens to each patient’s needs and works collaboratively toward a solution. Dr. Weldt practices medicine in the community where she resides. She earned her medical degree from the University of Saint Eustatius School of Medicine in Netherlands-Antilles, and completed her Family Medicine internship and residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz. She specializes in all aspects of family medicine including preventive, chronic and acute care.
