Banner Medical Group opens Greeley internal medicine clinic

GREELEY, Colo.  (Nov. 15, 2010) – Banner Health announces the opening of a new internal medicine clinic in Greeley and welcomes a new provider who will see patients in the clinic beginning Dec. 6.

Banner Internal Medicine – Greeley will be located at 2010 16th St. The phone number is (970) 350-5660. Steven Kalt, MD, has joined Banner Medical Group as the provider in that clinic and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Kalt comes to Banner from Southfield, Mich., where he worked with Premier Internists – a division of Millennium Medical Group. Previously, he worked with Northwestern Community Medical Group in Chicago.

Dr. Kalt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., and his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed an internship and residency at Northwestern University and post-graduate training in internal medicine, primary care program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, McGraw Medical Center in Chicago.

He is board certified in internal medicine.

Dr. Kalt enjoys working with patients to promote health and quality of life through disease management and preventative care. His special areas of interest include hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and asthma.
