Erin Stalker, FNP joins Fort Morgan Internal Medicine

 

BRUSH, Colo. (Oct. 21, 2010) – Fort Morgan Internal Medicine is proud to announce the addition of Erin Stalker, FNP to the practice.  Ms. Stalker will be working with Scott Faulkner, MD. 

Ms. Stalker received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wyoming in 2002 and her master’s degree in nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner emphasis in 2010 from the University of Northern Colorado.

While completing her Master’s, Stalker worked for the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyo. While at the VA, she developed skills for adult health, managing acute, chronic, complex and multi-system issues. She gained knowledge for treating chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

Ms. Stalker had worked as a registered nurse for more than eight years in the Fort Collins area prior to completing her Master’s. With the completion of board exams last summer, she has begun seeing patients at Fort Morgan Internal Medicine. She will see patients 18 years and older, as well as, care for a female patient’s needs.

Stalker enjoys activities such as boating and camping at multiple places throughout Colorado. She has also volunteered to help at the 9Health Fair, in Greeley, Colo., March of Dimes, and Everybody Has a Heart Event.

“I’m looking forward to practicing medicine in Fort Morgan and Brush, as well as, expanding my ability to help patients as a Family Nurse Practitioner,” said Stalker.
