NCMC Spirit of Women Girls’ Night Out presents ‘Indulge in Your Best Health Now’

GREELEY, Colo. (Sept. 29, 2010) — North Colorado Medical Center’s Spirit of Women will host an evening of indulgence for their fifth annual Spirit Girls’ Night Out on Oct. 12. “Indulge in Your Best Health Now” encourages women to laugh, love and live healthier lives. The evening features the comedic actresses who co-authored the hit show, Girls Only – The Secret Comedy of Women.

Barbara Gehring and Linda Klein who delighted the audience in Greeley last year, wrote Girls Only – The Secret Comedy of Women to celebrate the honor, truth and humor of being female. The actresses plan to perform new scenes and improvisation created specifically for this event, as well as favorites from the nationally acclaimed show.

The evening will also provide an opportunity to journey through the latest information on women’s cancers and other health issues; including current treatments, meeting expert practitioners and learning about available support activities.

Spirit of Women guests will gather at the University of Northern Colorado Ballroom, 2045 10th Ave.,  from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:15. Art, music and other special surprises will round out the evening.  

The cost of $15 at the door includes delectable chef-inspired desserts, signature drink and the evening’s performance. Wine is available at an additional charge. Parking is free in lots northeast or south of the University Center.
