NCMC gastroenterologists begin seeing patients in Windsor clinic

 

WINDSOR, Colo. (June 7, 2010) – Gastroenterologists Yazan Qwaider, MD and Ahmed Sherif, MD, with the North Colorado Gastroenterology Clinic will begin seeing patients in a Windsor clinic Tuesday, July 6.

The physicians treat patients for a variety of conditions including but not limited to heartburn, fecal incontinence, chronic constipation and inflammatory bowel disease. They will see patients at the Medical Arts Centre of Windsor, 1300 Main St. in Windsor.

Dr. Sherif is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He has been practicing in Greeley since September 2004.  He completed his Gastroenterology fellowship in Ann Arbor, Mich. Dr. Sherif previously practiced General Surgery and has more than 10 years in the medical field.

Dr. Qwaider is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He has practiced in Greeley since July 2005. Dr. Qwaider completed his fellowship in Lubbock, Texas.

A third gastroenterologist, Mark Rosenblatt, MD, also practices at the North Colorado Gastroenterology Clinic at North Colorado Medical Center. He is board certified in Gastroenterology/Hepatology. He earned his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He had a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a third tier fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis.

The North Colorado Gastroenterology Clinic is at 1800 15th St. Suite 300 in the Medical Arts Building next to NCMC.
