NCMC invites community to Dinner with a Gastroenterologist

GREELEY, Colo. (April 5, 2010) — North Colorado Medical Center has introduced a new series of informational events to connect community members with medical specialists.

The first Dinner with a Specialist event will feature North Colorado Gastroenterology physician  Yazan Qwaider, MD It is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 at Aims Corporate Center, 5590 W. 11th St. in Greeley. Dr. Qwaider will speak about heartburn and associated risk factors, symptoms, treatment and effects if it isn’t treated.

The dinner is $10 per person. Pre-registration is required by calling 350-6633. Space is limited.

Dr. Qwaider is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. He served as a chief resident and assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he completed his gastroenterology fellowship. He has been a member of the medical staff at NCMC since July 2005.
