Nationwide, about 7,500 people hold this type of designation.
The exam to earn this designation is provided to applicants with two or more years of experience in clinical research. The exam tests the knowledge and skill in comparison to the daily expectations of a clinical research professional as found in daily practice. The Society of Clinical Research Associates exam also provides an internationally accepted level of knowledge, education and experience for clinical research professionals to be recognized by the medical research community.
Henley and Taylor work daily with cancer patients, physicians and oncology professionals to support nearly 60 cancer-related clinical trials in northern Colorado. Offering clinical trials in the local community allow patients to have access to the latest in cancer treatments and technologies without the need to travel outside the area to participate in clinical research.
