North Colorado Medical Center welcomes new gastroenterologist
GREELEY, Colo. (March 10, 2010) – Gastroenterologist Mark Rosenblatt, MD, began seeing patients March 1 with North Colorado Gastroenterology in Greeley. Rosenblatt joins Ahmed Sherif, MD, Yazan Qwaider, MD, and Amber Ciarvella, PA.
Dr. Rosenblatt most recently worked with Boulder Medical Center. He also has worked with gastroenterology practices in Illinois.
He earned his undergraduate degree in archaeology from Clark University in Worcester, Mass., and his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He had an internship at The Mount Sinai Hospital and residencies in anesthesiology at New York University Medical Center and internal medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine. He had a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a third tier fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis.
Dr. Rosenblatt is board certified in gastroenterology/hepatology. He has a special interest in pancreato-biliary; crohns and colitis, and performing complex endoscopy.
Dr. Rosenblatt is interested in expanding North Colorado Gastroenterology services to include small bowel capsule endoscopy for obscure sources of GI bleeding and small bowel tumors; and treatment of Barrett’s Esophagus with newer ablative therapies.
The gastroenterology clinic is located at 1800 15th St. Suite 300 in the Medical Arts Building next to North Colorado Medical Center.
