Occupational Health staff members advance training
LOVELAND, Colo. (Sept. 8, 2010) – Four staff members with Banner Occupational Health Services in Loveland have recently completed advanced training to offer screenings and services in the occupational health clinic.
Corlet Boelman has achieved Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist status. To earn the designation, she demonstrated proficiency and special knowledge and completed a course in occupational hearing conservation with the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. The 20-hour course is renewable every five years. Boelman is the registered medical assistant for Banner Occupational Health Services at McKee Medical Center.
Patricia Rankin, RN, has successfully completed advanced training with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health to perform pulmonary function testing. This course is renewable every five years. She is the Occupational Health registered nurse for Banner Occupational Health Services at McKee.
Betty J. Stevens, RN, has successfully completed the recertification for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for spirometry testing. She is the Senior Manager for Occupational Health for Banner Occupational Health Services at McKee.
James A. Hebard, MD, MPH, has successfully completed the certification requirements and is credentialed as a Certified Medical Review Officer. The essential function of a medical review officer practice is the interpretation of forensic drug testing results in the context of a regulatory and policy framework. Dr. Hebard is one of the medical providers for the clinic.
