Radiation oncologist serves as The Seasons Club guest speaker
LOVELAND, Colo. (Feb. 4, 2010) – The Seasons Club at McKee Medical Center hosts Joshua Petit, MD, in a presentation on new techniques in the fight against cancer.
The event, free and open to the public, is Thursday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the McKee Conference and Wellness Center, 2000 Boise Ave. Refreshments will be served.
Dr. Petit is a board certified radiation oncologist and practices at McKee Medical Center. He previously worked at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Department of Radiation Oncology, in Fairfax, Va. He received his education and training from the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program, the Harvard School of Public Health, the Scripps Mercy Hospital and the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
He has specialized clinical experience in methods for treating brain disorders with a focused radiation beam, known as stereotactic radiosurgery, and low-dose rate brachytherapy for prostate cancer.
