Steven Huneycutt, MD joins Brush Family Medicine

BRUSH, Colo. (Oct. 28, 2010) – Brush Family Medicine is pleased to announce the addition of family practice physician, Steven Huneycutt, MD to its team of medical professionals.

Dr. Huneycutt completed his first medical degree at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, and was in private practiced for 14 years, before attending medical school at St. Petersburg Pediatric Medical and Military Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Dr. Huneycutt completed his residency with Michigan State University in 2002. Before coming to work at Brush Family Medicine, he had been employed as a full time emergency medicine physician by EmCare in Portage, Mich.

Dr. Huneycutt is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.  His areas of expertise involve pediatrics as well as adult medicine, musculoskeletal and spine injuries, cosmetic surgery and emergency and urgent care medicine as well as health care administration.

At a Denver Scientific Assembly this fall, Dr. Huneycutt was awarded the degree of Fellow by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Huneycutt enjoys spending time with his family, aviation, restores antique autos and is active in politics.
