Banner Boswell Medical Center honors October volunteer of the month
SUN CITY, Ariz. (Oct. 28, 2011) – The Volunteer Services department at Banner Boswell Medical Center has selected Kathy Skaggs as the October Volunteer of the Month.
Skaggs, a Sun City resident, has been volunteering in the Emergency Department lobby since 2004. She is also participates in the Volunteer Leadership Council and is a trainer in the Emergency Department Lobby assignment. Skaggs has accrued more than 2,035 volunteer hours.
"We truly appreciate Kathy's dedicated service to the patients, families, and staff in Banner Boswell's Emergency Department," said Julie Mudric, director of Volunteer Services. "She consistently models Banner Boswell's commitment to the patient experience."
Banner Boswell has more than 1,600 active volunteers who give more than 200,000 hours of their time each year.
