New season of cooking classes at Banner Olive Branch Senior Center

 

SUN CITY, Ariz. (Sept. 10, 2011) – Banner Olive Branch Senior Center will resume its monthly cooking series in September to offer Sun City residents delicious, affordable and easy-to-prepare meals. The first class will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26.

September’s class will feature: Baked Strawberry Salmon; Bacon-Tomato Spaghetti and Double-Decker Fudge.

Classes will be hosted by the center’s culinary supervisor, Chef Doru Sii, who oversees the preparation and cooking of more than 65,000 meals each year for seniors and disabled members of the community.

The cooking classes are held in Banner Olive Branch Senior Center, 11250 N. 107th Avenue, Sun City.

A $15.00 non-refundable fee for lunch is requested.

For the demonstration only, the requested fee is $5.00. Reservations are required as space is limited – please call the center at 623-974-6797.
