Giovanna Garcia, MD, joins Banner Internal Medicine Greeley
GREELEY, Colo. (Aug. 29, 2011) – Banner Internal Medicine Greeley is pleased to announce the addition of internal medicine physician Giovanna Garcia, MD, to its team of medical professionals.
Dr. Garcia completed her medical degree at the University of Saint Martin de Porres School of Medicine in Lima, Peru, and interned at Hospital Maria Auxiliadora in Lima. She recently completed her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso before joining Banner Internal Medicine Greeley. She starts seeing patients Sept. 6
Dr. Garcia has a special interest in preventive medicine and chronic disease management including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and hyperlipidemia. She is also ready to treat patients with urgent or acute medical needs. She enjoys enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, running and learning about other cultures.
