McKee Women First Certified Nurse-Midwives moves

LOVELAND, Colo. (April 13, 2011) – McKee Women First Certified Nurse-Midwives is relocating the practice to 1647 E. 18th St. just south of McKee Medical Center.

Women First previously was located in the Seven Lakes Medical Office Plaza at McKee. They moved to take advantage of clinic space that had been used by Urology Center of the Rockies physicians. The group will open in its new location Monday, April 18.

Women First providers are Cindy Dean, Linda Davidson, Patti Valasek – all certified nurse-midwives. The office will welcome another midwife later this spring.

The certified nurse-midwives at Women First are professional health care providers. They are registered nurses who have graduated from an advanced education program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.

Our nurse-midwives have also passed a national certification examination and have met strict requirements set by state health agencies.

Nurse-midwives at Women First provide a full range of women’s care including:

• Annual exams
• Preconception care
• Pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care 
• Contraception
• Menopause counseling
