NCMC nurse becomes president of new cardiac nurses association

 

GREELEY, Colo. (April 13, 2011) — A registered nurse from North Colorado Medical Center was recently named president of the newly formed Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association.

Susan Bush, RN, works in NCMC’s Cardiac Rehabilitation department.

The Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association is a leading nursing organization dedicated to preventing cardiovascular disease through assessing risk, facilitating lifestyle changes and guiding individuals to achieve treatment goals. This is accomplished through the integration of public and professional education and advocacy.
