North Colorado Medical Center features staff, community in video

GREELEY, Colo. (Oct. 4, 2011) – You can now see the Pink Glove Dance featuring North Colorado Medical Center staff members and area breast cancer survivors.

The video is posted on http://pinkglove.co/32 along with the videos of the other participants. Viewers can then vote on their favorite video (voting requires a Facebook® account).

The video was recorded in September at the hospital and area clinics and is part of the national Pink Glove Dance video competition sponsored by Medline Industries, manufacturer of the pink gloves and producer of the original Pink Glove Dance video. First place will receive $10,000, second place $5,000 and third place $2,000.

Two years ago a video featuring hospital workers dancing in pink gloves debuted carrying a big message about breast cancer awareness and prevention. Two years, 13 million views, thousands of letters, emails and countless copy cat videos later, the Pink Glove Dance has spread way beyond the Portland, Ore., hospital where it all started.

Winners will be announced Oct. 28 on pinkglovedance.com.
