North Colorado Medical Center offers Conductorcise for Heart Month

 

GREELEY, Colo. (Feb. 7, 2011) – In recognition of Heart Month in February, North Colorado Medical Center’s CardioVascular Institute and North Colorado Spirit of Women present Conductorcise®.

Maestro David Dworkin will lead community members through this musical upper body workout as they imagine themselves leading a symphony orchestra. Participants learn how to relieve stress, build aerobic stamina and shed unwanted pounds while strengthening their hearts and opening their ears. Plus they can learn more about the lives and works of great composers.

Conductorcise is Thursday, Feb. 17. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the presentation is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the University of Northern Colorado Ballroom, 2045 10th Ave., in Greeley. Light appetizers will be served. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance with a credit card or at the door with cash or check. Please call (970) 350-6633 to register.
