Ogallala Community Hospital wins four Banner’s Best Awards

OGALLALA, Neb. (Feb. 23, 2010)  – Banner Health has awarded Ogallala Community Hospital four Banner’s Best Awards for meeting and exceeding benchmarks on quality health care initiatives set by Banner Health’s senior management team.

Awards were presented during the 9th annual virtual Banner's 2011 Leadership Conference held Feb. 23

Ogallala Community Hospital captured awards for facilities under 100 beds for outstanding achievement in the areas of:

• Surgical Care Improvement Project B
• Patient Care Indicators
• Central Line Infection Outcome – Infection Rate
• AHRQ Culture of Patient Safety.
