Volunteers are in need at Banner Boswell Medical Center

 

SUN CITY, Ariz. (Aug. 5, 2011) – Volunteering is a great way to meet people, learn new skills and feel good about making a difference in your community.

Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City is looking for volunteers to provide assistance at the hospital's information desks and patient admissions.

Information desk volunteers perform a variety of tasks including greeting visitors, answering phones, escorting patients, delivering flowers and answering questions. Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts are available. 

Volunteers for the Admitting department escort patients and their families throughout the hospital. Morning and afternoon shifts are available.  

Banner Boswell has more than 1,600 active volunteers who gave over 253,000 hours of their time in 2010.
