Fall Prevention, the March Lobby Lecture topic

 

BRUSH, Colo. (March 1, 2012) – The East Morgan County Hospital physical therapist, Tim Brown, invites area residents to join him March 13 for the next Lobby Lecture Series topic: Fall Prevention.

Lobby Lectures will be held in the main lobby of the hospital beginning at 6 p.m. with a light meal. Please use the main entrance to the hospital. 

Brown will explain why people fall and ways to reduce your fall risk. This lecture will be an excellent learning opportunity for those concerned about falling, their caretakers, and health care professionals. The lecture is offered free of charge and will give participants the opportunity to ask questions and receive information. 

Tim Brown is the director of EMCH rehabilitation services and graduated from Langston University with a bachelor of science in physical therapy. His main emphasis is on manual therapy, with a special interest in evaluation of the spine, and treatment of spinal disorders. Brown has 19 years of experience in physical therapy.
