East Morgan Community Hospital offers lessons on child passenger safety


BRUSH (Oct. 30, 2012) – Learn the importance of properly restraining the youngest passengers in vehicles – both according to the law and according to what is best for your children and their body types during East Morgan County Hospital’s upcoming Ask the Expert presentation.

Two healthcare experts from EMCH will offer the free education on Child Passenger Safety on Nov. 8.

They will focus on teaching adults the safest way to drive with children in the car and when those children can progress to using different vehicle safety restraints.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and will take place at the EMCH Main Conference Room of the hospital at 2400 W. Edison in Brush.

Speakers are Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians Sandra Boone, RN, and Angel Griffin. Guests can make an appointment at the event to have child safety seat checks on a later date.
