Lubick Foundation grants funds to McKee Cancer Center
LOVELAND, Colo. (March 8, 2012) - The Lubick Foundation has recently awarded a $10,000 grant to McKee Medical Center's Cancer Center. The RamStrength™ Basic Needs Fund at the McKee Foundation will provide direct financial assistance to eligible local cancer patients.
Patients who are actively battling cancer can apply for RamStrength™ Funds through the McKee Cancer Center. Eligible patients can receive up to $500 for living expenses, transportation costs, medical insurance premiums and co pays, prescriptions, and counseling. Eligibility is based on financial need.
“McKee is pleased to extend this opportunity, through the generosity of RamStrength™, to patients and families with cancer who turn to us for care,” states Linda Davidson, Clinical Services Manager at the McKee Cancer Center.
The RamStrength™ Program is operated by The Lubick Foundation. The Lubick Foundation’s mission is to support local cancer patients and survivors by providing financial assistance for basic needs, scholarships, programs and services. RamStrength™ has been creating awareness and raising funds to help local cancer survivors in Northern Colorado since 2008 and distributed $61,988.68 in 2011, serving 130 families.
